See us at SpeedShow – tomorrow and Sunday

Come see our biggest and best line-up yet at CRC SpeedShow 2012 (Auckland Showgrounds, Saturday 9-6pm & Sunday, 9-5pm, $20 at the gate, we are site 5). Find us near the site of main sponsor CRC. Visit us and enjoy the hands-on thrill of riding a Segway i2 and x2 for the first time. Plus, check out the Segway Patroller and Golf models. Take away our Case Studies on every topic from commercial applications to personal mobility.

The New Zealand Herald dedicated most of its front page today to a stunning photo of the Go Fast Jet Pack in action over Auckland Harbour. At SpeedShow you’ll get to see Jet Pack pilot Nick Macomber fly around the outdoor arena at 1pm each day.

There is so much to see at SpeedShow this year – including YikeBike on display for the first time at an Auckland show, along with the SoloWheel plus find out advanced info about SpnKiX – fun, powerful boots with wheels – just strap to your shoes and off you go!

You’ll also see show organiser Keith Sharp riding around on a Segway PT. For the last 5 years Keith has used a Segway PT during show set-up, on show days, and during break-down. “It really saves my legs,” he says. “Before I started using a Segway PT for events I’d be exhausted even before the show started.”

This year, Keith will be on our classic Segway e167 model (2002-2006)  – one of only four in New Zealand.  This was the model that would stand self-balancing in place by itself from the moment the rider dismounted, obediently awaiting their return and the opportunity to spring into action again – ideal for warehouses, deliveries, showing off to your mates, and event management of course!

Plus, best of all – come say Hi to our awesome Segway Girls.
